Watch the video here: The two women clung to each other, as if trying to reclaim the moments lost over the last 30 years. Thirty years ago, the older sister married a citizen of the UAE. The younger sister, along with her parents, lived in Egypt. After their father passed away, the younger sibling and her mother moved to another city in Egypt, where the mother eventually died.
About five years after her marriage, when the older sister traveled with her husband to visit her family in Egypt, she was shocked to find an empty house. Unaware of their new address and with no hope, she returned to the Emirates. The younger sibling, however, refused to give up. Desperate to find her sister, she traveled to the UAE. Upon arriving at the airport, she immediately took a taxi to the Fujairah Police Department and recounted her story.
Within just 5 minutes of hearing her tale, authorities tracked down the details of the sister's husband and successfully reunited the two. The sisters expressed their deep gratitude to the general leadership of Fujairah Police, particularly a representative from the Dibba Police Department, for their swift response and assistance in locating her sister.
The younger sister emphasized that her trust in the police forces of the United Arab Emirates motivated her to come to the country and seek help to fulfill her wish to see her sister. Colonel Saif Rashid Al-Zahmi, Director of the Dibba Police Department, also noted that this work is a humanitarian duty. He added that he is proud of the staff for reuniting the sisters in such a short time.
