Smile 2 made its theatrical debut on Friday, October 18, but fans can already secure their copies of the horror sequel's Blu-ray release through preorders available at various online retailers. Although a precise release date has not been announced, several physical editions of Smile 2 have been unveiled, featuring a limited-edition steelbook version.

The two-disc edition of Smile 2 includes the film in 4K UHD, standard Blu-ray, and digital download formats. While bonus features remain undisclosed, enthusiasts can anticipate the movie in a limited-edition steelbook case adorned with distinctive cover and interior artwork. Preorders are currently accessible at Amazon and Walmart, albeit at varying prices. Amazon offers the 4K steelbook edition for $45, whereas Walmart lists it at $35. It is anticipated that the prices will align closer to the Blu-ray release date. Regardless, preordering from either retailer ensures you receive the lowest price guaranteed, with no charges until your order is shipped.

In addition to the steelbook edition, Smile 2 will also be available in non-steelbook 4K Blu-ray and DVD formats, both of which can be preordered at Amazon. Similar to the first film, Smile 2 delves into a horror narrative where individuals are plagued by unsettling hallucinations of smiles that no one else can perceive, ultimately leading to their demise. The sequel introduces a new protagonist, pop singer Skye Riley (Naomi Scott), who inadvertently inherits the curse just before embarking on a tour.

For those new to the series eager to explore the origin of the curse, the first Smile movie is available in multiple Blu-ray editions, including a two-disc steelbook edition. This edition, priced at $39 at online retailer Zavvi, includes the first Smile movie in 4K and standard Blu-ray formats, along with the short film that initiated the franchise, Laura Hasn't Slept. It also offers a selection of special features. The steelbook edition serves as an ideal way to familiarize oneself with the series ahead of Smile 2's Blu-ray release. Alternatively, for a more straightforward and economical option, the non-steelbook 4K and standard Blu-ray version of Smile is available at Amazon.

Horror aficionados should also consider preordering Terrifier 3, which recently premiered in theaters and is set for a Blu-ray release on December 17. This gory killer-clown slasher film will be available in a 4K collector's edition, among other formats.
