Sonic Racing is gearing up for another race, as a new entry was unveiled at The Game Awards. Sonic Racing CrossWorlds made its debut with a short teaser-trailer.
Although the trailer was brief, it provided a close-up view of the racecar driven by Shadow the Hedgehog—a fitting tie-in considering his upcoming lead role in the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie and the recent release of Sonic X Shadow Generations. Shadow's car features a sleek black design with red accents and leaves a fiery trail behind, reminiscent of the iconic Back to the Future cars. The teaser also hinted at a portal sequence, suggesting that the "CrossWorlds" title will involve some interdimensional racing.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds is set to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. While no specific release date was announced, the trailer confirmed that it's coming soon.
