Video game music concerts have been a staple in the fandom for decades. However, starting next year, Sony is launching its own concert series, PlayStation: The Concert, catering to music-loving gamers in 200 cities worldwide. Sony Interactive Entertainment's Sid Shuman revealed this news through the PlayStation blog.

RoadCo Entertainment and GEA Live are collaborating with Sony for PlayStation: The Concert, which will showcase music from iconic Sony titles such as The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, God of War, and more. Shuman stated, "As video game music gains global recognition, PlayStation: The Concert aims to redefine the music experience. This is not just a show; it's the pinnacle of video game concert experiences, reflecting PlayStation's innovative ethos and pushing the boundaries of what's achievable—from consoles to stages across the globe." Fans can expect a mesmerizing blend of multi-layered visuals, immersive surround sound, and a stellar ensemble combining classical and contemporary instruments.

Only a few European tour dates have been disclosed so far, with the inaugural concert scheduled for April 19, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland. Details regarding stops in the United States and other countries will be announced later. European fans can visit the official site and use the early access code, PLAYCONCERT24, to secure tickets starting on Wednesday, October 16 at 7am PT. General ticket sales will commence on October 18.
