Sharjah's Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) has declared the decrease in speed limits on Al Ittihad Road and Al Wahda Road starting from Saturday, May 25. The new speed limit will be 80 km/h, down from 100 km/h. Motorists are urged to comply with the revised speed limit to ensure smooth traffic flow on these roads. Meanwhile, on Tuesday of the previous week, the Ras Al Khaimah Police announced an increase in the speed limit on Al Watan Road in the emirate, raising it from 100 km/h to 120 km/h.
