This 1,890-piece model kit is part of Lego's Ultimate Collector Series, known for its more detailed and realistic designs. Ultimate Collector Series Star Wars Lego sets rarely go on sale, so this deal, which cuts $65 off its $240 list price, is unlikely to stay in stock for long.
This meticulously detailed model of Luke's ground vehicle measures 19 inches long when fully assembled. While George Lucas and his film crew used reflective materials, gelatin on the camera lens, and shadow effects to create the illusion of hovering, you can achieve the same effect with a display stand. The kit also includes a plaque with essential details about the Landspeeder and two Star Wars minifigures: Luke Skywalker and C-3PO. They can either stand next to the plaque or sit in the cockpit.
