The creators of Stree 2, featuring RajKummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, have released the much-awaited trailer for the horror comedy. Kapoor shared the trailer on Instagram, delighting fans. The trailer starts with Pankaj Tripathi's character unveiling the new menace, 'Sarkata', to the residents of Chanderi. As Sarkata, a headless entity, threatens to kidnap the village women, Vicky, played by Rao, rises to the occasion and transforms into the prince of Chanderi to protect them. Tamannaah Bhatia will make a special appearance with a dance number in the film.
Kapoor, in her post, exclaimed, "YE RAHA TRAILER! India's most awaited gang is back to fight Chanderi ka naya aatank! Get ready for the biggest horror-comedy film of the year. RajKummar Rao shared a new poster on Instagram, captioning it, "Ho jaiye taiyar Aa raha hai #Bicky with his most loved gang and with #Stree ji for the biggest horror comedy of the year. #Stree2 Trailer out tomorrow. The legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August, 2024."
Stree, released in 2018, was a major hit. The sequel, Stree 2, is set to release in theaters on August 15 this year.
