Sunreef Yachts, a leading Polish catamaran manufacturer, has revealed that it has sold a third 43M Eco model at the Cannes Yachting Festival this year. The purchaser is a returning client who previously owned a 24.4-metre Sunreef 80 Power.
"We are extremely proud to have a client fully embrace eco-friendly yachting," stated Nicolas Lapp, Sunreef's CTO and co-founder. "We are already in discussions with other clients regarding the 43M Eco. The demand for sustainable yachting is increasing, which aligns with our vision. We are delighted that the market shares our enthusiasm." The first unit of this model was sold in late 2022 and will become the world's largest electric catamaran upon delivery.
The vessel's hull, superstructure, and rigging are equipped with integrated solar panels, providing the yacht with 250kWh of energy over a 24-hour period. Additionally, an advanced hydro-generation system will generate "clean power" for emission-free cruising and an "infinite range," according to the shipyard. Accommodation on board is designed for 12 guests, including a master cabin featuring a private office and direct access to a bow lounge.
Leisure facilities include an "ocean lounge" that seamlessly connects the aft deck to the swim platform, creating a unified space for waterside relaxation. This area is highly customizable, allowing clients to install a massage room, bar, or fitness area. An invisible aft garage is also available for storing tenders and toys. A second sun lounging option is located on the flybridge, featuring a spa pool, sunpads, a bar, dining area, and an outdoor cinema.
This announcement follows the unveiling of a smaller model in the shipyard's sailing catamaran series, the 35M Eco.
