Dubai experienced a remarkable celebration of fatherhood at the ‘Super Dad Awards Night’, organized by 321 Events at the JW Marriott Marina. The event, attended by 300 guests, was a tribute to the steadfast dedication and love of fathers who significantly impact their families and communities.
Led by Zoha Beig, CEO of 321 Events, the Super Dad Awards were conceived to acknowledge and celebrate the often-unnoticed efforts of fathers. “Fathers devote their lives to supporting their families, yet their contributions frequently remain unrecognized. The Super Dad Awards aim to give them the acknowledgment they truly merit.” The event showcased 15 categories highlighting the varied roles fathers play, culminating in the prestigious Super Dad of the Year Award.
The evening honored two extraordinary individuals who epitomized fatherhood and leadership. A special tribute was paid to Dr Ram Buxani, a beloved member of the Super Dad Awards advisory board, who passed away earlier this year. His daughter, Chetana Buxani, accepted the award on his behalf. Another heartfelt tribute was dedicated to the late Micky Jagtiani, with his daughter, Nisha Jagtiani, receiving the award in honor of his enduring legacy.
Guests were greeted with an enchanting harp performance, setting the stage for a refined and heartfelt evening. Attendees interacted with ten event sponsors through engaging activations and participated in a raffle offering a luxurious staycation prize. The charismatic Nitin Mirani, a renowned host, comedian, and entertainer, guided the event with charm and humor. Highlights included a dramatic CGI logo reveal, sponsor tributes, and special awards such as the Honorable Award presented to Salim Khan, the legendary Bollywood writer and father of Salman Khan, who shared a poignant message on the essence of fatherhood.
The Critic’s Choice Award for the distinctive category ‘Mom in Dad Shoes’ was bestowed upon Farhana Bodi, star of Dubai Bling, recognizing her resilience and strength. The inaugural Super Dad Awards concluded on a high note, establishing a foundation for an annual tradition. The next edition is scheduled to take place on Father’s Day 2025, promising another heartfelt celebration of fatherhood in its purest form.
