Earlier, shooter Manu Bhaker claimed a bronze medal in the women's 10m air pistol event, marking India's initial medal in shooting at the Paris Olympics. Bhaker further made history by becoming independent India's first athlete to win two medals at the same Olympics, partnering with Sarabjot Singh to clinch bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
