A Swiss International Air Lines Boeing 777 en route from Tokyo to Zurich had to make an emergency landing in Kazakhstan on Saturday following a medical emergency on board, according to a statement from the airline. After landing, the nose wheel of the Boeing 777-300ER became entangled in grass and got stuck, necessitating towing back to the runway. The aircraft is set to undergo inspection for any damage and will be the focus of an investigation.

Swiss confirmed that all 319 passengers on board remained uninjured as a result of the incident. Boeing has yet to respond to a request for comment, as it was outside of regular business hours.
