In February, the official teaser for the film was unveiled, providing a brief look into the sequel's universe with the iconic song Ek Haseena Thi from the film Karz playing in the background. The film also features Jimmy Shergill. Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba is a follow-up to the Netflix premiere, Haseen Dilruba, which debuted in July 2021. The sequel will also be exclusively available on Netflix, though its precise release date remains to be announced.
