Thailand's Constitutional Court dismissed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin from his position on Wednesday after ruling against him in an ethics case, plunging the nation into new political uncertainty.
Judge Punya Udchachon, who read the verdict, stated that the court's decision was five to four to oust Srettha due to the appointment of a minister who had a criminal record.
