To commemorate The Last of Us Day, Sony revealed that The Last of Us Part I, the PS5 remaster, has been added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium libraries. This marks the third iteration of the game in 11 years, so if you missed it before, you can now dive in with your PlayStation Plus membership. Alongside the game, Sony has introduced a range of extras, including account avatars featuring Joel and Ellie, and even a Clicker to personalize your profile. To access these, you'll need to redeem a voucher code available on the PlayStation Plus website and the The Last of Us page on the PS Plus hub on your homepage. These avatars will be accessible until October 26.
Steam is also joining the celebration with digital assets, such as a cordyceps start-up menu for your Steam Deck, along with avatars and exclusive reaction emojis and GIFs. Additionally, from today until November 26, all PlayStation Stars members who play The Last of Us Part I will receive a free Clicker digital collectible for their collection.
Lastly, PlayStation Plus members can enjoy a 10% discount on select The Last of Us merchandise at PlayStation Gear until October 26. Simply use the promo code TLOUPLUS10 at checkout. Naughty Dog celebrated the 10th anniversary of The Last of Us last year and had plans for an online game set in the same universe, which was unfortunately canceled. However, the developer assured fans that more of The Last of Us is on the horizon.
