The Outlast Trials is set to receive a significant update on December 10, introducing a new character, map, missions, and more, all available for free. Project Breach brings Amelia into the game, a rebellious vigilante with a unique backstory that sets her apart from previous characters. Amelia, once a victim of the titular trials, has escaped and now seeks revenge against the Murkoff Corporation, leaving players curious about her role and potential as a new Prime Asset or major boss.
Players will encounter Amelia in innovative ways, adding a fresh dynamic to the typical gameplay. The new Downtown map features a central mission called Pleasure The Prosecutor, designed to take a group of four players approximately 45 minutes on normal difficulty. Additionally, two new side missions are set within the Downtown area. The update also introduces the sixth class/cooldown ability, The Jammer, though its mechanics remain undisclosed.
Accompanying Project Breach, a limited-time event titled Winter Kills will commence on December 10. This event offers holiday-themed challenges and a variety of new cosmetics for character customization and the Sleep Room. Players can even don their Christmas pajamas while navigating the perilous Murkoff Facility.
All these new features and updates will be available on December 10 across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
