Peter Stormare's iconic Call of Duty character, The Replacer, has carved out a niche by taking over people's jobs so they can indulge in COD. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 elevated this concept by making The Replacer a playable operator within the game. Naturally, The Replacer's finishing moves mirror his real-life antics in a grandiose fashion. These moves have been prematurely leaked and are now circulating on social media. Each finisher showcases The Replacer stepping in at the last moment to execute the opponent, doing so with a flair that surpasses the player's own efforts. Unlike the player, The Replacer embraces the concept of 'overkill' wholeheartedly.

Since his comeback during Black Ops 6's promotional campaign, The Replacer has filled in for a diverse array of figures, including The Pope, Joe Rogan, NFL mascots, and others. One of the more notable recent ads featured The Replacer on Jeopardy, both as a contestant and as the host, much to the dismay of Jeopardy's actual host, Ken Jennings. The Replacer was introduced into the game as part of Black Ops 6 Season 1 earlier this month, but the rollout hasn't been without its challenges. Issues such as the temporary removal and subsequent reinstatement of double XP tokens in legacy COD games have been addressed by Activision. Additionally, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has launched ranked play, offering a range of rewards for the top players.
