Titans in Destiny 2 are set to receive a series of buffs to their abilities, enhancing the experience of playing this robust subclass and making it more effective in endgame activities. Bungie announced these balancing changes in its weekly 'This Week in Destiny' blog, detailing a range of adjustments coming in October with the release of the game's next content episode, 'Revenant.' The primary goal is to align the Titan's gameplay more closely with the fantasy of being a frontline fighter who bulldozes through enemies.

While these changes don't necessarily make Titans more powerful in a direct combat sense, Bungie is focusing on enhancing other aspects of the Titan build. One notable tweak is the modification of the Titan barricade ability, which will now taunt enemies, diverting their fire away from teammates and towards the barrier itself. The barricade, an energy wall that Titans can deploy on the battlefield, will be more resilient, taking 50% less damage from standard enemies and offering better protection against explosive splash damage, increasing from 20% to 60% for those behind it.

Additionally, the Sentinel Shield Super ability and the Unbreakable aspect, which generate personal shields, will see increased defensive uses. Other adjustments include making it easier for Titan abilities to destroy Stasis crystals, enhancing their effectiveness without directly boosting their damage output. Titans will also see a damage boost to their punches, with a 5% increase against players and a 20% increase against PvE enemies, reinforcing their role as the brawnier class.

The blog also outlined several other tweaks, including adjustments to various 'roaming' Super abilities, such as the Hunter's Golden Gun and Spectral Blades, or the Warlock's Chaos Reach and Stormtrance. These Supers will receive increased damage reduction in PvE and slight buffs to improve their utility against enemies.
