Actor Tom Holland admits he can't resist Googling his girlfriend, Zendaya, to check on her well-being. In a recent interview with People, the Spider-Man star revealed, "The last thing I googled was actually Zendaya." He explained, "I'm not on social media, and I delete it when I'm not using it. So, sometimes, it's more of an anxiety thing, but I'll check to see if everything's good and to make sure we're all cool. I just give her a little Google and look through the news, and I'm like, 'She's good.'"
Tom and Zendaya are often seen as relationship goals by many. In a recent viral clip, Holland was seen rescuing Zendaya from fans who surrounded her, asking them to "give us a little bit of space." The couple, who met while working on 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and began dating in 2021, have managed to keep their relationship relatively private.
Zendaya shared in an interview, "I can't not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. You can't hide. That's not fun either. I am navigating it more than ever now." She added, "It's about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist."
Despite their efforts to keep their relationship low-key, Holland and Zendaya have occasionally expressed their feelings publicly. At the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, Holland said, "Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again." He continued, "I love those movies, and I love savouring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it's so special. It's such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth."
