This year, we assembled a diverse panel of 99 judges from across the globe to vote on the top 100 female footballers of 2024. The panel boasted an impressive array of expertise, including the current head coaches of Lyon, PSG, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Ajax, among others. To maintain transparency, we are now publishing the spreadsheet containing all the votes for our readers to scrutinize.

For instance, how many points did Mariona Caldentey trail Naomi Girma and thus miss the top 10? The answer is 66. Additionally, how narrowly did Kika Nazareth miss the top 100? Remarkably close, with just four points separating her from Jess Carter in 100th place.

Over 300 players received votes this year. Click on this link to view the spreadsheet detailing the full breakdown of the 3,960 votes cast. A total of 81,180 points were distributed. To ensure our judges could express their opinions freely without bias, individual voting records are anonymized in the full score breakdown. Judges' numbers are randomly assigned and do not correlate with the alphabetical list of names. You can find the complete list of judges here.

Our judges were provided with a comprehensive list of 600 players from leagues worldwide and asked a straightforward question: who were the best female players in the world in 2024? Judges were instructed to select 40 names each, ranking their choices from 1 to 40, with No. 1 representing their top pick. The No. 1 choice received 40 points, No. 2 received 39, and so on, down to 1 point for their No. 40. All votes were aggregated to produce a raw score.

To mitigate the impact of outliers, the highest score awarded to a player was subtracted to yield the final score. In cases where players are tied in points, the number of individual votes cast serves as the tiebreaker, followed by their highest individual score.
