The Toronto Film Festival has revealed the lineup of speakers for its 2024 event, which is set to take place next month. Among the notable figures are Cate Blanchett, Zoe Saldana, and Steven Soderbergh, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Blanchett is scheduled to attend with two of her latest works, Alfonso Cuaron's TV series Disclaimer and Rumours, both of which debuted at Cannes. She will be recognized in Toronto with a Tribute Award and will also partake in the 'In Conversation With' event.

Speakers at TIFF often have films featured in the official program. Saldana will be promoting her role in Jacques Audiard's Emilia Perez, while Soderbergh will present Presence, a ghost story featuring Lucy Liu and Chris Sullivan. Korean actors Hyun Bin and Lee Dong-Wook will discuss their careers in the Korean film and TV sectors as they present their thriller Harbin at the festival's world premiere.

The Visionaries sidebar at TIFF will host a casual discussion with Oscar-winner Alfonso Cuaron, Hollywood animator Pete Docter, Black List founder and CEO Franklin Leonard, Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat, and Nobel Prize-winner Malala Yousafzai. The festival will kick off on September 5 with David Gordon Green's comedy Nutcrackers, starring Ben Stiller, and will conclude with The Deb, Rebel Wilson's directorial debut, adapted from the Australian hit musical of the same name. The Toronto Film Festival is slated to run from September 5-15, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
