Four young men tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Sharjah early Friday morning, as reported by the police. Three passengers perished at the scene due to suffocation, unable to escape from the locked car doors. The fourth passenger, critically injured, was transported to Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah but did not survive his injuries the next morning, according to police.

At 2:45 am, the Sharjah Police Operations Room was alerted to a traffic incident involving a car with four young Arab men in their twenties, three of whom were Syrian and one Egyptian. They were en route to the government district in Al Layyah when the driver, speeding excessively, lost control. The vehicle hit a barrier and plunged into the water behind Souq Al Jubail.

Emergency services, comprising police patrols, Civil Defense rescue units, and National Ambulance crews, were promptly dispatched to the accident site. The Sharjah Police General Command extended their heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and appealed to the public to respect speed limits and traffic rules to enhance safety on all roads.
