One issue with Transformers toys is that many lack remote-control features. While Robosen offers impressive models that transform, roll, and deliver lines, these can be pricey. Luckily, Walmart currently has a great deal on a remote-controlled Optimus Prime that mechanically converts. Originally priced at $51, this toy is now available for just $21. To access this early deal, you need to be a Walmart+ member, which costs $98 annually and includes benefits like early sales access, free shipping, a Paramount Plus subscription, and more. This deal is exclusive to Walmart and will be available to all customers starting today. While it may not match the features of Robosen's Optimus Prime or Megatron, this toy is a fun collectible at this price. Optimus is chunky and true to his Generation One look, with easy vehicle mode operation and several light and sound effects. In truck mode, he looks impressive, making him a good display option. For more traditional figures, Amazon has various Optimus Prime action figures on sale, including the MPM-12, an accurate replica from the Bumblebee movie, and the Voyager-class version from the War for Cybertron games. The War for Cybertron: Siege Optimus Prime is also a nice option for G1 fans, and the Power-Flip Optimus Prime, based on his appearance in the recent Transformers One movie, offers something different. Additionally, Transformers movie box sets are available, including 4K and Blu-ray collections of the first six films and the latest live-action movie, Rise of the Beasts.
