Global energy logistics leader Tristar Group is championing the theme of the 2024 World Maritime Day, 'Navigating the future: safety first!', through its sponsorship of the Safety at Sea Conference scheduled for November 7 in Dubai.

According to Tristar Group CEO Eugene Mayne, the primary goal of the Safety at Sea Conference is to foster dialogue and enhance global awareness to bolster seafarer safety and welfare. 'We are thrilled to witness organizations throughout the maritime sector prioritizing safety and endorsing the Conference,' Mayne elaborated.

The conference agenda features discussions and workshops aimed at advancing key areas crucial for safety improvements, which directly influence other aspects of a company's operational performance. Key speakers include industry luminaries such as Dr Grahaeme Henderson OBE, the ex-President of Shell Shipping and Chair of the Together in Safety consortium.

'We are honored to have industry leaders like Grahaeme, Karen, and Stuart imparting their invaluable insights at the Conference. We anticipate a vibrant discourse, with the potential to achieve substantial advancements in the vital domain of seafarer safety,' remarked Tim Coffin, CEO of Tristar's Maritime Logistics division.
