The US National Hurricane Center has reported that Tropical Storm Nadine is anticipated to make landfall near Belize City on Saturday morning.

Currently situated approximately 40.23 km southeast of Belize City, the tropical storm is generating maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour, as per the NHC.

The Miami-based forecaster has indicated that Nadine will traverse across Belize, northern Guatemala, and southern Mexico from this afternoon through Sunday. The storm is expected to weaken once it moves inland and is likely to dissipate by late Sunday, according to the forecaster.
