The Trump Organisation revealed on Thursday a partnership with a Saudi developer to construct a high-rise tower in Dubai, the UAE's business hub, marking another project in the Gulf region. Real estate developer Dar Global stated in a press release that Trump Tower Dubai is aimed at the luxury market in Dubai, with details about the location and design to be disclosed by the end of the year. The project will feature a Trump hotel and branded residential units, according to Dar Global, the international arm of Saudi developer Dar Al Arkan. This announcement follows just over two weeks after Dar Global announced another collaboration with the Trump Organization for a high-rise tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Dar Global is developing a Trump hotel and luxury villas in Oman's capital, with an expected completion date in 2028, as per the company's website. Former President Donald Trump handed over the management of his real estate business to his sons upon taking office in 2017, although he retained his shares in the Trump Organisation. Trump, who is the presumed Republican nominee for this year's presidential election, fostered strong relationships with the Arab Gulf states during his presidency, making Saudi Arabia his first foreign visit. "We are honored to further extend our footprint in the region with the introduction of our prestigious Trump Tower Dubai," said Eric Trump, the former president's son and executive vice-president of the Trump Organisation, in a statement.
