Former President Donald Trump is set to host a significant rally at New York City's renowned Madison Square Garden later this month, according to The Post.
The event, scheduled for October 27 at MSG's legendary arena, will occur just nine days before Election Day, as sources revealed. Anticipating a large crowd, the rally will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Trump, 78, attracted around 16,000 supporters to a lively rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, last month. Earlier this summer, his Bronx rally drew up to 10,000 Trump supporters to Crotona Park, despite a permit limit of 3,500 people.
Madison Square Garden, known as The World’s Most Famous Arena, can seat up to 19,500 in its main arena. The venue, home to the NBA’s New York Knicks and the NHL’s New York Rangers, has a history of hosting political events. It has previously held the Democratic National Convention in 1924, 1976, 1980, and 1992, as well as the Republican National Convention in 2004.
Trump has hinted at the possibility of a rally at the Midtown Manhattan venue as part of his strategy to win New York State in November. He mentioned this during an interview with Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo in February, noting that New York has undergone significant changes in the past two years.
In April, Trump reiterated his belief that an MSG rally would soon take place, stating that it would honor various groups, including police, firefighters, and teachers.
The Trump campaign has not yet responded to The Post’s request for comment. However, sources indicate that the campaign is expected to formally announce the rally on Wednesday through an email to supporters.
