Turkish shipyard Tufan and Brothers Co. has unveiled a new, 40-metre project named Hiu, scheduled to commence construction in early 2025. This steel and aluminium superyacht will be constructed at the shipyard's Tuzla facilities. Both the exterior and interior styling are the work of Red Yacht Design, featuring a broad bow, defined overhangs, and sloped, wide lines of glazing. Accommodation is spread across five cabins, with the owner's suite located on the main deck and the remaining guest cabins on the lower deck.

According to the designer, the project stands out due to its "extensive and versatile exterior spaces," which include a beach club, an upper deck lounge, and a 90-square-metre sundeck equipped with multiple lounges, a dining table, bar, sunbeds, and a pool with a view towards the bow. "We are excited to bring Hiu to life in collaboration with Red Yacht Design. Our aim with this project is to offer our clients a yacht that embodies elegance while providing unmatched outdoor experiences," stated shipyard director Tufan Avsar. "Hiu will be a reflection of our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation."

Fatih Surekli, managing director of Red Yacht Design, commented: "Designing Hiu has been an exhilarating challenge, and we believe she will set a new benchmark in her class. Her flowing lines and expansive outdoor areas foster a seamless connection between the yacht and the sea, delivering an unparalleled experience of luxury and relaxation." Hiu is expected to have a cruising speed of 12 knots. Red Yacht Design recently shared a 68-metre project called Livia with BOAT International, featuring two swimming pools, a sauna, and a touch-and-go helipad.
