Two loyal participants in the Dubai Duty Free promotion have each won US$1 million in the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw. Kyriacos Michaelides, a Cypriot, and Abdullah Alsayed, from Saudi Arabia, claimed the grand prize.

Kyriacos, a 43-year-old residing in Johannesburg, South Africa, bought his ticket on September 5 while en route to Paris. A regular entrant in the promotion for over 10 years, Michaelides manages a distribution company specializing in gift items and toys in Johannesburg. "After more than 10 years of consistently purchasing tickets, I'm thrilled to have finally won. Thank you, Dubai Duty Free," he expressed.

Michaelides is the second Cypriot to win the Millennium Millionaire promotion since its inception in 1999. Meanwhile, Abdullah Alsayed, a 65-year-old based in Riyadh, secured his ticket online. A consistent participant in the promotion for over 20 years, Alsayed purchased 20 tickets for this series. A father of five, he is employed by a real estate company. Regarding his plans for the winnings, he stated, "I intend to invest in a business and set aside some for my children's education."

Alsayed is the 14th Saudi Arabian national to win the Millennium Millionaire promotion since 1999. Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, the Finest Surprise draw awarded a luxury car and motorbike. Peter Svenning, an American living in the US, won a Bentley Bentayga V8 (Magnetic) car, while Ebin Thankachan, an Indian based in the UK, took home an Indian Scout Bobber (Black Smoke) motorbike. Both winners remain currently unreachable.
