England's Tyrrell Hatton finally broke his three-and-a-half-year winning drought by clinching the Individual title at LIV Golf Nashville, aiding his Legion XIII team, which included Jon Rahm, Caleb Surratt, and Kieran Vincent, to triumph in the Team event. Hatton's last victory was in January 2021 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He secured his latest win with a final-round 65, finishing six shots ahead of Majesticks GC's Sam Horsfield, totaling 19 under par. Hatton reflected, 'Having not won for 3 ½ years, you wonder if you'd be able to do it again in some way. It's a pretty special feeling to win again.' Legion XIII's Captain, Jon Rahm, who tied for third, praised Hatton, stating, 'For all those out there who don’t know how good Tyrrell Hatton is, this is sure proof. I think today just shows how good he can be. Obviously, it’s never easy to win, and to win by six in three rounds is quite impressive.' The team competition was closely contested, with Legion XIII initially leading by 10 strokes but later seeing their lead reduced to less than four strokes. However, with all four Legion players shooting under par, they maintained their dominance. The battle for the remaining podium spots saw Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC securing second place, and Torque narrowly beating Majesticks GC for third. Dubai-based players Anirban Lahiri (Crushers GC) and Adrian Meronk (Cleeks GC) finished tied 18th and tied 22nd respectively. Crushers GC leads the season-long Team Standings, with Meronk at 15th and Lahiri at 27th in the Individual Standings. The next LIV Golf event will be held in Andalucia, Spain from July 12th to 14th at Real Club Valderrama.
