The funds will be distributed via Norka Roots, a government-established organization for the welfare of non-resident Keralites, of which Yusuff Ali is the Vice Chairman. Another Dubai-based entrepreneur, Ravi Pillai, has likewise pledged approximately Dh9,000 to the bereaved families through the same organization.
