The UAE expressed its strong disapproval of the attempted coup in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in a statement released on Tuesday (May 21).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) emphasized the significance of upholding stability and security within the country, underscoring its backing for the sovereignty and unity of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
It was highlighted that the UAE's support aligns with the framework of constitutional institutions and the rule of law, aimed at realizing the aspirations of the Congolese people, with whom it shares enduring connections.
