The UAE has strongly condemned the armed attack that targeted Chadian army forces, resulting in numerous fatalities and injuries.
Approximately 40 soldiers were killed in an assault on a military base in Chad's Lake region during the weekend, according to the central African country's presidency on Monday. An operation has been initiated to apprehend the perpetrators.
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Tuesday, expressing the nation's strong disapproval of these heinous acts and its steadfast opposition to all forms of violence and terrorism.
The ministry also extended its heartfelt condolences to the Chadian government and its people, particularly to the families and loved ones of the victims. It wished a swift recovery for all those injured.
