Google Chrome users in the UAE have been advised to upgrade to the most recent version of the free web browser, following the release of security updates by the tech giant to fix several vulnerabilities.
The UAE Cyber Security Council recommended on Thursday that users update their browsers to the latest version provided by Google. "Google has issued a security update for Chrome to tackle multiple vulnerabilities, including a high-severity vulnerability that is currently being exploited in the field," the authority stated in a post on X. "The UAE Cyber Security Council advises updating Chrome to the latest version and disseminating this information to your subsidiaries and partners," they added.
