Since the initiation of 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,' the UAE has dispatched 100 humanitarian and relief aid convoys to the Gaza Strip. This assistance has significantly mitigated the hardships faced by Palestinians due to the war, with the initial shipment arriving on November 24, 2023. The UAE's relief convoys included a variety of essential items such as medical equipment, food parcels, Emirati dates, shelter tents, clothing, water, baby formula, packages for children and women, blankets, relief bags, ambulances, and water tanks and sewage systems. These convoys, which transported over 20,000 tonnes of aid via approximately 1,000 trucks through the Rafah Border Crossing, have been crucial. Following the invasion of Rafah, four additional convoys carrying an estimated 320 tonnes of aid, including shelter tents and food parcels, were sent to support the displaced and those in dire need. The health sector received significant support through urgent medical aid, including more than 16 tonnes of medicines and medical supplies. Continuing the legacy of the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE remains committed to providing relief to those affected and displaced, setting a global standard for humanitarian efforts.
