Trump International Golf Club, Dubai has been honored with the prestigious Award for the Best Par 3 Golf Course in the World at the recent World Golf Awards held in Madeira, Portugal.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) saw significant success at the 11th annual World Golf Awards and convention, often referred to as the ‘Oscars’ of the global golf industry. The event, which took place in Madeira, Portugal, brought together leaders, pioneers, and key figures from the global golf industry. The awards ceremony, held at the luxurious Savoy Palace, concluded a two-day celebration highlighting Madeira's top golf courses. The UAE's multiple accolades and top citations at this year’s World Golf Awards underscored the country's growing influence on the international golf scene.

Chris Frost, Managing Director of World Golf Awards, expressed his appreciation for Madeira's hospitality, stating, “Madeira has proven to be an excellent host for this world-class gathering of the global golf tourism industry. We have had the privilege of recognizing the leading golf courses, hotels, resorts, designers, and tour operators from around the world, and I extend my congratulations to each of them.”

Among the notable achievements for the UAE were Trump International Golf Club, Dubai winning the Best Par 3 Golf Course in the World, and Yas Acres Golf & Country Club, Abu Dhabi being named the World’s Best Nine Hole Course. Trump International Golf Club Dubai has also been nominated in five prestigious categories for the 2024 World Golf Awards, including a new nomination for Middle East’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue. The highly distinguished World Golf Awards Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Spanish golf legend Miguel Angel Jimenez.

The awards were the result of a year-long search for the world’s favorite golf tourism and hospitality brands, with votes cast by golf industry professionals, media, and the public.
