The UAE Media Council has announced that it is closely monitoring a bullying incident that occurred during the filming of a children's program broadcast on one of its platforms.
In a statement released on Sunday, the authority emphasized that it will not tolerate any content that breaches the media content standards outlined in the Media Regulation Law or the laws pertaining to child protection in the country.
The Council further revealed that it is in contact with the girl's family to gather more information about the incident and is currently conducting a thorough investigation. Based on the findings from the investigation with all relevant parties, the authority will determine the exact circumstances and take appropriate action.
