UAE residents now have the ability to report labor grievances and connect with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) through a video call, as declared on Wednesday. Accessible via Mohre's smart application, the 'instant video call' feature enables both workers and employers to seek information about the ministry's offerings and obtain essential assistance. This service is also accessible via the authority's WhatsApp hotline at 600590000. Hussain Al Alili, the director of the Customer Relations Department at the ministry, stated, 'The new service is crafted to cater to the requirements of all clients, offering them support, aid, and swift responses.' The objective, according to him, is to furnish accurate responses to residents' inquiries while bolstering adherence to labor market rules. The video call service operates during Mohre’s official business hours: from 7.30am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 7.30am to 12pm on Friday. Nevertheless, customers can reach the ministry’s call center at 600590000 at any time during the week. To utilize the video call service, one must install Mohre's smart app. Upon opening, select the 'Support' button located at the bottom of the initial screen. This action will lead to a menu of customer service choices, with the final option being 'Video Call'. In 2023, Mohre documented over 50 million inquiries and interactions with its clientele across its service platforms.
