The UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation has announced that the UAE Muay Thai Open Championship (August 9-11) will take place at the cutting-edge Space 42 Arena in Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi.

The championship will see 551 fighters from 47 national clubs participating, demonstrating a strong dedication to promoting Muay Thai and offering outstanding opportunities for young and junior athletes during the summer.

Competitors ranging in age from 8 to 23 years old will compete in 12 different weight categories, both male and female. "Our continuous efforts to organize high-quality programs and championships during the summer for our youth are what propel us," stated Ali Khouri, a Board Member of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation.

"Following the successful UAE Kickboxing Championship, we are thrilled to host the UAE Muay Thai Open Championship, which provides a top-notch platform for young and upcoming talents to sharpen their competitive skills, gain crucial experience, and utilize their vacation time for significant growth in their Muay Thai careers."

Founded in May 2017, the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation is focused on boosting the popularity of Muay Thai and Kickboxing and forming a team that can compete internationally for both professionals and amateurs.
