The National Guard of the UAE, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, conducted a medical evacuation operation on Wednesday for an individual injured in a severe traffic collision alongside his family in the Sultanate of Oman.
The incident led to the demise of a female citizen due to critical injuries. The casualties were moved from the scene of the accident to Ibri Hospital for requisite medical care.
Subsequently, with the assistance of Omani authorities, the injured party was transported to the UAE aboard a National Guard search and rescue aircraft for continued treatment alongside his family.
