UAE President Sheikh Mohamed engaged in discussions on various regional and international matters on Tuesday with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting held in Abu Dhabi.

The two leaders also shared perspectives on issues of common interest. They underscored the significance of increasing efforts to secure a ceasefire, establish comprehensive calm in the Middle East, and avert the escalation of conflict to protect regional security and stability.

The meeting further addressed the fraternal ties between the two nations, different facets of their collaboration, and joint initiatives aimed at benefiting their respective populations. Both parties are committed to advancing their mutual interests and enhancing security and stability in the region.

The Qatari Prime Minister, accompanied by his delegation, arrived earlier at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, where he was warmly received by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
