The UAE has secured a spot among the world's top 10 countries where people aspire to move, travel, or explore, according to recent data from Numbeo.
Data revealed that the UAE ranked seventh with 2.56% of searches, surpassing Australia (2.34%), France (2.19%), Switzerland (2.09%), and the Netherlands (1.99%). Globally, the US led the rankings with 5.31% of searches, followed by the UK, Canada, Spain, Germany, and Italy.
The UAE has become a focal point for investors, particularly in the post-Covid-19 era, as they seek stable and expanding markets. Professionals are increasingly drawn to the Emirates, where the rapidly growing economy offers opportunities across various sectors.
The UAE has also strengthened its position as a tourism hub post-pandemic, exceeding its pre-pandemic tourist numbers. Dubai, the most visited city in the UAE, welcomed 17.15 million tourists in 2023, surpassing the pre-pandemic figure of 16.73 million.
Senior officials have consistently reiterated their goals to make Dubai and the UAE the premier places to live and work. According to Numbeo, the UAE ranked among the top 20 destinations for residents of numerous countries, including Canada, Egypt, India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, the UK, and Uzbekistan.
The UAE was notably the top dream destination for Egyptians, Omanis, and Pakistanis.
