Two relief planes from the UAE, part of the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign, arrived at Beirut airport. One of these planes carried a contribution for the women of Lebanon from Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the 'Mother of the Nation,' Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation. Each plane was loaded with 40 tonnes of supplies aimed at assisting Lebanese women affected by the ongoing conflict. The UAE remains committed to its humanitarian efforts to support the people of Lebanon.

The message accompanying the contribution from the 'Mother of the Nation' stated, 'Dear mothers of Lebanon, our hearts are with you in all circumstances and times. The UAE was and still is with Lebanon, hoping for stability and security.'

Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Organizations and a member of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, emphasized Sheikha Fatima's dedication to supporting Lebanese women and standing by them during their challenging times, in line with the country's humanitarian principles.

Al Shamsi further explained that the values of Emirati humanitarianism are deeply rooted in the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed, who emphasized the importance of swift response to people and nations affected by conflicts and disasters worldwide, regardless of their background.

The 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign was initiated under the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, with oversight from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and under the supervision of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs' Families Affairs, and Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council.
