The UAE executed a rescue operation for an injured individual in Saudi Arabia, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

The injured person, who was in his seventies, experienced a health complication during his stay in Saudi. The UAE National Guard - National Search and Rescue Centre conducted an air ambulance mission in collaboration with Saudi authorities.

Following treatment at King Khalid Hospital in Saudi Arabia, the patient was airlifted to the UAE's Mediclinic Hospital for additional care. The ministry expressed gratitude to the Saudi authorities for their support and role in facilitating the success of the air ambulance mission, in coordination with the UAE Consulate in Jeddah.
