Online and brick-and-mortar retailers based in the UAE are offering discounts of up to 90 percent, along with gifts and giveaways worth hundreds of dirhams, to attract shoppers during the 11.11 and Yellow Friday sales events. Major e-commerce platforms such as Noon and Amazon, alongside retailers like Carrefour, Lulu Hypermarket, Jumbo, Ikea, Danube Home, and Centrepoint, have launched special 11.11 sales to capitalize on the shopping frenzy among residents and visitors.
In addition to these discounts, retailers have partnered with local banks to provide extra savings on credit card purchases. Buy-now-pay-later services like Tabby and Tamara are also offering payment splitting options to make shopping more convenient.
Noon is running its Yellow Friday sale from November 23 to 30, promising 'unbeatable prices and exclusive deals on high-demand products.' The sale includes discounts, flash deals, bundles, and special promotions across various categories, from fashion to electronics. ADCB credit cardholders can enjoy a 30 percent discount, while Emirates NBD noon One Visa cardholders can get up to 20 percent off on Noon platforms.
Amazon UAE is hosting an 11.11 sale from November 8 to 12, featuring discounts on everyday essentials, electronics, home appliances, kitchen equipment, beauty, and fashion products. The e-commerce giant has partnered with Mastercard, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and Dubai First to offer instant discounts. Prime members will benefit from free local and international delivery and early access to the sale.
Smaller e-commerce platform wee.ae is offering up to 90 percent off on various products as part of its November 11 sales. Meanwhile, Ikea's 11.11 sale, running until November 17, offers discounts of up to 50 percent on selected bedroom essentials, living room items, and other home furnishing products, along with a 20 percent discount on its Swedish Food Market.
Jumbo, the UAE-based electronics retailer, is offering daily prizes and guaranteed gifts until November 12. Customers spending Dh1,000 or more will receive Dh500 worth of entertainment and travel vouchers, including a hot air balloon voucher and additional travel vouchers. Danube Home is offering up to 80 percent off on furniture, kitchen, and decor equipment, among other discounts.
Hypermarket chains Carrefour and Lulu Hypermarket are also participating in the 11.11 sale with significant discounts on various grocery items.
