Mordor Intelligence predicts that the UAE’s food and beverages (F&B) sector will grow to $43.98 billion by 2029, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17.09 percent. This expansion is driven by a robust tourism industry, a thriving economy, and a competitive market in the UAE.
Aiming to capitalize on this trend, Chandramari Group, an Indian conglomerate, plans to invest between Dh20 to 25 million to boost its F&B division across the region. As a starting point, the group is introducing Zordaar, a high-end dining venue, in the UAE, supported by an initial investment of Dh5 million. This includes a carefully selected menu and an atmosphere designed to embody the essence of Indian cuisine in a contemporary urban setting.
“Zordaar stands out by offering a refined dining experience that meets the increasing demand for creative and premium cuisine. The UAE’s F&B sector has seen substantial growth, with consumers increasingly seeking distinctive dining experiences. We expect this growth to continue, fueled by increasing tourism and customer influx,” explained Muralikumar, the founder of Zordaar.
Beyond the UAE, Zordaar is also launching new restaurant concepts, including Lebanese and popular Indian brands. Chandramari Group intends to roll out an expansion plan that will initially see the opening of four to five Zordaar outlets across the UAE, before expanding into key markets such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain.
“Zordaar is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and creating unforgettable dining experiences. The company’s strategic investments and innovative approach set it up for ongoing success and growth in the region,” noted SC Suresh Babu, another founder of Zordaar.
The UAE was chosen for this strategic expansion due to its rich cultural diversity and appreciation for high-quality international cuisine. “This vibrant environment is perfectly aligned with Zordaar’s business strategy, providing an ideal stage to display Indian culinary excellence on a global platform,” the founders stated.
As consumers increasingly value meaningful experiences, the UAE’s culinary landscape is adapting to meet these needs. Local concepts have achieved success in international markets, enhancing the country’s global culinary reputation.
