The UAE, via its humanitarian initiative Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, has provided essential aid, date packages, and vast amounts of potable water to Palestinian families residing in temporary camps in Khan Yunis. This initiative was launched amidst the challenging conditions and infrastructure damage in the city, which has resulted in a critical lack of potable water. Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 is dedicated to offering immediate assistance and reducing the hardships faced by families who were compelled to evacuate their homes due to ongoing military operations. Dates and hundreds of gallons of water were systematically distributed to reach the maximum number of families. This action was highly commended by the recipients, who conveyed their profound appreciation to the UAE for this humanitarian aid.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has distributed 80 tonnes of urgent and humanitarian aid to support Palestinian families grappling with shortages of essential supplies and water under dire conditions. The operation aims to mitigate the water scarcity in areas populated by residents and displaced individuals. It has conducted a water distribution campaign that has benefited over 70,000 people. Currently, the operation is collaborating with the Khan Yunis Municipality to restore water lines and tanks, ensuring a consistent and adequate supply, thus preventing humanitarian crises and diseases.
