The UAE, via its humanitarian initiative Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, has shipped numerous tons of medical supplies and drugs to hospitals and healthcare centers throughout the Gaza Strip to tackle the dire medical crisis. A considerable number of hospitals have ceased operations, impeding their capacity to treat injured individuals. This week, the operation swiftly dispatched 20 tons of vital medical supplies and drugs to organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, the Red Cross, and Al Awda Hospital, among others. This assistance is essential for sustaining medical services in the wake of the collapse of Gaza's healthcare infrastructure, with the total aid now surpassing 400 tons. The medical assistance includes drugs for the elderly, such as those for hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol; heart medications, painkillers, antibiotics, respiratory and digestive system drugs; crucial children's medications; ointments for skin ailments, and various first aid supplies.

Previously, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has provided support to all Gaza hospitals with medical supplies, ambulances, and equipment, boosting hospital capacity and service quality for displaced individuals. This followed the suspension of medical supply deliveries due to the severe conditions in the sector. This response underscores the UAE's commitment to promptly addressing the needs of the Palestinian people, reflecting its enduring dedication to offering timely and essential aid.
