The UAE has sent its fifteenth plane loaded with extra aid to Lebanon, bringing 40 tonnes of vital food packs, especially for kids. This is part of the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign, started after President Sheikh Mohamed's orders. With this flight, the UAE has given 672 tonnes of help to Lebanon since October 2024, closely watched by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, and under the care of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who looks after important matters and helps those who have lost loved ones.
Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, who helps with foreign affairs and international groups, said the leaders are quick to help with people's needs and give important supplies to Lebanon during tough times. These actions show the kind heart of the late Sheikh Zayed and the good values in everyone in the UAE.
The UAE keeps helping Lebanon by air and sea. Also, the UAE is aiding Syrians coming back from Lebanon, through charities and groups. These efforts aim to help with early recovery, bring peace and stability to the area, and lessen the effects of the current problems. The UAE has sent 2,772 tonnes of aid, with 772 tonnes going to Lebanon and Syria. Plus, 2,000 tonnes of help arrived in Beirut on a UAE ship.
