The UAE has dispatched two relief aid planes to Zambia and Guinea.
One plane, carrying 50 tonnes of food supplies, was sent to Zambia to assist those affected by the drought that has impacted thousands of lives. Another plane, loaded with 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid, was flown to Guinea to support those affected by the recent floods.
The UAE remains steadfast in its global humanitarian commitment, responding swiftly to natural disasters, humanitarian crises, and environmental challenges.
"The leadership of the UAE is committed to continuing international efforts to support communities and assist countries across various continents during these challenging and urgent times," stated Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Organizations Affairs and a member of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council.
