The United Arab Emirates has expressed support for the International Court of Justice's decision to impose additional provisional measures on Israel, calling for an immediate halt to its military operations in the Rafah Governorate. The UAE highlighted the urgent need for a ceasefire, protection of civilians, de-escalation in the occupied Palestinian territory, and relief for the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza exacerbated by Israeli aggression.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the necessity of ensuring unobstructed access to humanitarian aid and keeping the Rafah crossing open for the entry of aid. It underscored the UAE's commitment to working with international partners to intensify efforts for aid delivery by all means and methods, land, sea, and air. Additionally, the UAE reiterated its call for enhanced regional and international efforts towards peace and a two-state solution, upholding the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
